Congrats on the new car! No advice on the plate. It has to represent you.

    nice car.
the vanity plate is a personal choice....
but imo, i always wonder why somebody would put a plate on the car that echoes what it is....ie, its obvious its a black ferrari 430, so why put a plate on it that says that??

    just my 2 cts

The engine type for the F430 is F136 E - that would make a cool plate.

If yours is equipped with an F1 transmission, then the transmission type is: F131 EB/E.

If yours is a three-pedal F430, then the transmission type is: F131 EB/M.

I think any of those would make cool plates.

I don't think the public knows what NERO means- only gear heads on FChat.

Why don't you confuse people with "G6 Driver?"

Or, screw it, just say "Go Navy!"

I'd have to ask why do you want a custom plate? I went with a custom plate where I live because I didn't like the color or the design of the regular plates. Also I didn't want to make some sort of statement so I just picked numbers/letters that look like a regular plate but I have the color and design I like.

I think custom plates can give a car more character. I also respect those that want a more inconspicuous plate too. I think it just comes down to personal preference. I've seen plenty of very entertaining plates..I took this photo of Ben Sloss's car at SVF

I like humorous plates. Still tempted to put MINIVAN on the Mondial but have occasional worries the minivans in line with me to drop kid off at school might be less tickled. It would be funny to me at soccer games.

Is there anything life-related versus car-related that works for you personally?

depends on which side of instant identity one wants to be on... not good if one likes spirited driving or has a loud exhaust... there are many Ferrari in similar color and model but only 1 with a particular plate... allowing for easy repeated recognition...

Lol, I also like the humorous ones.

Worse one I saw recently was on a 430 with chrome wheels that read "EXPNSIVE". Might be tongue in cheek about maintenance costs but I took it to be negatively braggadocios.

You never know with those sort of plates. The one I saw that I shook my head at was on a Mercedes and said BLESSD. Tacky.

My personal opinion - I don't like vanity plates. Ferrari chat is for opinions, no? Or are we in the USSR?
