360 Help Converting euro header for USA car

So my manifolds had loose precats. I decided to go with euro manifolds as they maintain the stock look, and don’t have precats and were cheaper than new aftermarket.

I knew full well I would need to modify the air rails to have the connection between exhaust ports 2&3, and 6&7.

What I am asking is does anyone know where to source the USA male compression fitting same that is on the USA manifolds, to connect to my existing braided SS secondary air system. Or even what size it is.

I can, but would rather not butcher my original manifolds for a donar part.

The euro manifold is standard 1/2” pipe thread, does the euro car have a compression fitting that attaches a similar male compression fitting to this pipe thread? How does the euro car connect to the air pump line? Perhaps I can source this converter fitting if it exists and modify it for my rail.

I can’t find any euro parts diagrams.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe some years do.

 

Found a few on eBay. Some sort of valve on the end maybe a back flow preventer. Not the same connection as USA looks like a hose slips over the end.

Fascinating, so these with no pre cats and SS secondary air rails must be modified from an imported EU car to meet USA emissions?

And same for the other EU headers on eBay that have rails.

Correct?

 

So the question now is does anyone know the type of compression fitting that connects to USA secondary air pump braided SS hose.

 

That’s weird I thought all USA Cars has air pumps for years. Does the 99 inject air somewhere else in the header, or just not have a secondary air pump.

Good example of “unknown unknowns” and “known unknowns”

My known unknown I thought I was just going to convert a euro header air rail to USA style.

Unknown unknown - the rails are not original, and much more of a headache than I could have expected to connect to a USA car.
