    Hi All

I am considering purchasing a Ferrari from Ooley and Blackburn Imports located in Carmel, Indiana any references or experience. I will be shipping the car to NJ for PPI, I would appreciate any feedback.

I was looking at a car there a month ago or so. It was a 99 355 Silver/Blue. Made contact with John Blackburn about the car originally. Asked him about a trade deal with my then 328. He said he would get back to me. After 3 weeks and 5 messages and about 5 emails left to him, I gave up. I even had a fellow Fchatter go by and look at the car for me. I figured if he couldn't return my calls--I would find a dealer who would. A phone call only takes 2 minutes, a email even less. I guess he was too busy for a potential client. Not a good way to do business in my book. Maybe you will have better luck..

I posted a response to your thread else where on this sight earlier. I bought a 1997 911 from them in 2000. I had a great expirence. They represented the car accurately. I would do business with them again. I don't remember which one of the two I dealt with except that he was a big Porsche buff and I think he has been a PCA officer at some point.

GWood355, your reference point is 6 years old; a lot can change in 6 years. 285ferrari's reference point is 2 months old and he recently purchased a Ferrari but not from that dealer due to their lack of response. The way I see it is if it’s that hard to get a response from a Ferrari dealer or any other type of business before you are a customer it will be impossible to get a response from them if you become their customer and have any issues with their product.
