    This picture is of a new 1982 308 (in 1982). The head unit was a Blaupunkt. Can anyone tell me what kind/brand of speaker this is?

    blue328 is right.

    They are Blaupunkt ball speakers. Gary at Goodmans will get back to me with model numbers. He installed them on several F cars in the day.

    Stopped making them in the 80's. Big surprise.


    Suggested S2 Nucleus Micro from Anthony Gallo Acoustics.

    Nucleus Micros are pretty cool little speakers (full range 3" driver in a 4" sphere). Sounds like the Goodman dude knows stuff. However, the nominal 8 ohm impedance might be an issue depending on the amp and other speakers...

    I thought those were house speakers. They make those things for cars too?
