I have a 1997 Ferrari F355 Spyder with aftermarket Daytona seats. The seats do not have integrated seatbelts and I need to replace the three-point set up that is in place. The only really safe option is to put in a harness set up.

Buying two used Beige F355 seats with workable seat belts is not an option. Can I put in a set of BMW convertible E46, E92, E93 seats with the integrated seat belts? Would they fit? I'm sure they would have to be bolted to the frame by a professional. It seems like a decent idea on the surface. I obviously don't have the original seats so what's the difference at this point.

Any help thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thank you!

Anything can be made to fit if you have a little bit of fabrication done.

So you’re saying you bought it like this? What do you mean by “aftermarket”. Are they still Ferrari seats? What car are they from? Are they electric? Have the seat rails been moved to allow these aftermarket Daytonas to be fitted?

You seem to be asking us if some non-Ferrari (BMW) seats are compatible when we don’t know what setup you have now.

As Mitchell says, anything can be made to physically fit, but you’re probably not going to get compatibility with the roof electrics. If you want non-Ferrari manually operated electric seats, obviously you’ll have to replace the seat rails and tap into a source of power and, perhaps, the existing seat switches if you want a neat solution.

@Carmellini has fitted some Ferrari F430 Daytona seats with manually operated electric seats. Perhaps he has some tips. You may find some of his posts regarding this on the 348/355 forum, but there were a lot of private conversations involved in getting the electrics up and running (including the addition of remotely operated seat electrics). I can’t remember what he did with the roof.
