My brother's F430 has decided to flash its hazard blinkers permanently. We tried the battery kill but that did not help. The car runs normally although the triangle warning on the instrument binnacle is on. Any ideas? TIA.

Remove the hazzards button and disconnect the wires from it. If that kills them, then you have a faulty button. Order a new button. :):)
If that does not stop them, then you will need to delve a little deeper.......

and then turn off the alarm and start it up, it happens when new for a while. Italian wiring, the car is worth it even with the few bugs.

The dealer promissed it would look good and go fast and during the occassional event when it would not go, it would still look good.

They have always honored this guarantee.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it's just the switch.

What's involved in pulling the switch? Can it be done simply from above or does it require some disassembly of the console? I'm trying to avoid the emabarrasing task of driving the car to the dealer with the hazards flashing. A red F430 just doesn't need that sort of extra attention. Maybe I can find one of those lame window signs that says "Dork Onboard".
