    Well, the time has come again to walk in the name of Autism awareness. Last year, with your help, we raised $6300 in my son's name and the walk went off without a hitch. We had over 20,000 walkers participate last year and we raised over $1.2MM!!! So, I was thinking of a way to make this year even more exciting and I found a way to accomplish this....

    My wife, who as some of you know, is an authorized Audemars Piguet dealer who has close ties with Francois-Henry Bennahmias, president of Audemars Piguet. She contacted Francois about the upcoming walk and he sent us a beautiful ladies, stainless steel with diamond bezel, Royal Oak watch with a pink face on a pink crocodile strap, to raffle in our son Eric's name for Autism awareness!!! The watch has a retail value of $10,200. This watch will be awarded to the lucky winner at the time of the walk on April 25, 2009.

    Here are the rules of the raffle:

    All tax deductible funds raised go directly to Autismspeaks as sponsorship of our son Eric, who is walking, along with us, in the name of Autism awareness. Tickets will be $50 a piece. Every $50 you donate will earn you one raffle ticket. A donation of $500 will earn you 12 raffle tickets and a donation of $1000 will earn you 25 raffle tickets. (multiple donations will be tallied and your ticket total will be adjusted accordingly) Your receipt, straight from the Autismspeaks' website shall serve as proof of your tax deductible donation. I will also send a separate email stating the total of tickets you have entered in the raffle. Each ticket with your names will be placed in a bowl. The drawing will take place at the offices of Autism Speaks. Marcia Watanabe, walk director and Phillip Hain, Executive Director, LA chapter, will oversee the drawing. A minimum of $25,000 in donations will be required to validate the auction so tell all your friends.

    Autism is rapidly becoming one of the most prevalent diseases in the world, affecting 1 in every 150 children born today and there is no cure. I help my son fight it every day and chances are, some of you are related to or know someone with Autism. As long as there is no cure, we all need to help fight it!

    As proof that this watch is brand new the pictures shown are of the watch, still in it's wrapper.

    I took this picture out of the AP catalog to show what it looks like. I would prefer to leave the watch in the OEM packaging for the winner.

    The minimum on-line donation is $20, but its $50 for a raffle ticket for the watch, correct?
