    hi all.
I stopped a FCA event here at Lime Rock short because the CEL came on and there is a hissing sound coming from top of engine (maybe a vacuum leak?) any thoughts? what is the risk of driving it 75 miles home? any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

made it back without issue. 575 handled like a champ at LR!

Will report on the problem, but I'm guessing a small hose split or popped off with vibration.

575's have a problem with the intake manifold bolts becoming loose, resulting in the displacement of the gasket. Could this cause a hiss, I don't know.

thanks for the suggestion. That may have happened with the vibration from the track use. I will let you know what I find out.

so...as promised, this was the resolution to my "hissing" sound and CEL in my '03 575. It was the intake manifold gaskets (both sides) that somehow lost their seal during a track event. No long term effects. I drove it very gingerly back home and had it flatbedded to the shop.
