Help! I bought wrong Ansa 308 exhaust.

    Help needed.
    I bought the wrong Ansa exhaust! I thought I was buying an Ansa 308 gt4 exhaust, but on inspection the exhaust hangers are different.
    Does anyone know or can help find what 308 or Mondial it fits?
    It has an Ansa plaque welded on it which says 2620.
    My research so far has been conflicting. It looks like it fits either 308 gtbi, 308 gtsi or maybe even the 308 gtb or Mondial 8?
    I’ve been on an Ansa catalog and it says 308 gtbi but I’m not sure the measurements match up on the mounting points and position of tail pipes.

    I’ve attached photos of the exhaust and a measurement diagram. Can anyone help or check the dimensions on theirs?

    Yup, you have the wrong model.

    My old Ansa catalog shows FE 2620 fits a Euro non-cat model 2Vi.

    For a GT/4 you need either a FE 1900 (Euro) or else a FE 1940 (USA 1974-1979) / FE 2040 (USA 1980) [I was not even aware that they made GT/4's in 1980, but that's what the catalog sez].

    At this point, if you are seeking a FE 1940 or 2040, your best bet is to do what I did a decade ago under similar conditions: Input the model number you seek into a number of different internet search engines and chase the leads. I eventually found mine on eBay after a couple of years of thus searching.

    I took mine off as it corroded . I did temp rivet patches for a while .
    As I have a 208 GT4 I reverted back to single pipe SS .

    I feel your pain as my eBay nuvolari didn’t quite fit a GT 4 despite the add description.
    But £350 I couldn’t return .

    I got a fabricator to move the mounts as like you it didn’t quite match up . So there’s an alternative, a fabricator can move them .
    They needed moving down for the GT4 .
