I still can't figure out why my fuel pump and fuse link under the dash is not getting juice. If somebody has an electrical schematic they could email to my mechanic buddy, Kris at [email protected]), I would be extremely thankful. I have a buyer for the car and really want to get this problem behind me!

    Thanks in advance, Pete

PS: If the ignition switch has gone south, could this be the problem?

The wiring diagram is in the owners manual, page 107 I think. I took mine to Kinkos and had it enlarged to 23" x 36" for $5.00. much easier to follow.
If you don't have the manual do a search for it.
    good luck,
    Steve

Thanks (DM_N also). Do you know which relay is for the fuel pump? (Duhhh..I should have checked this out first!). My manual is in Italian and I'm looking for 'fuelio' or something like that!

The correct term in Italian for fuel is 'benzina' or 'carburante'

Thanks. Nuvolari emailed it to my buddy Kris, but I would appreciate if you could email me the copy you have to [email protected]. I DID find a disk with a fuse and relay diagram in English. I did not notice a relay for the fuel pump. Correct?

I have an 85 308 gts- and I think yours should be similar, if not the same, as far as relays are concerned-my fuel pump relay is the lower left one- see attached.

Correct -- no fuel pump relay on a carb 308 (because the carb fuel pump doesn't need 10A to run).

One more time ;) -- the first thing to check is if the azure wire going to the top of fuse #2 is at +12V when the key is "on".

Thanks for everyone's help! It's fixed! It was the fuse block (Damnit!). The bank of three left fuses have a copper buss bar. That bar was loose! So it does not happen again, I'll probably just get a new fuse block and never have this problem again!

    Can you:

1)Confirm this is the one on the left?
    2) Is that a good price? Seems a bit pricey.

I just put in a new fuse block and BINGO! I had a perminant loose terminal spade on #3 that wiggled. The new $115 fuse block took care of the issue!

Thanks for all the replies and help.
