I'd say avoid any license plate that says "I'm better than you". The emotion this stirs in the jealous or unwashed will only help them find their inner animal at or all over your car.

Not being a fan of vanity plates, I never understand why anyone would put one on a car, especially worth over $100K. These plates are to attract more attention to the car or the driver. Is not having a Ferrari enough?

 

Not being from your side of the Atlantic, what are the parameters for selecting a plate for your car, i.e. how many letters/numbers, spacing etc.

In the UK, plates show the age of the car, and you can't put a plate from more recent year than your car is. They are really expensive too. Even a rubbish one will cost $500. Plates with 1 in e.g ROB 1 will fetch $50,000+, and the sky is the limit for plates which spell things like MAG1C, or MUS1C.

BEST N F1 - (Ferrari-Best in F1) Can either space it a little,(Here in Illinois,we just put a / between letters and numbers to indiacte spacing,probably the same out there.) BEST/N/F1....Or,together BESTNF1

I went to www.wordreference.com and searched for an Italian word that best described how I felt when driving the car hence Spasso. Fun, entertainment, enjoyment.

 

I used the word FUN and came up with many Italian expressions of fun (including Spasso). Note 'NM' before the word stands for 'noun masculine'. "Svago" or "Riso" would work in the limited space on a plate.

In my part of the country we are allowed 7 spaces on our plates, for letters, numbers, dashes or spaces. There are certain combinations that are not allowed because they are already being used by numerous government agencies.

No off color or ethnic entendres allowed.

I pay 25.00 USD in addition to my regular registration fee of 58.00 per year. The 25.00 goes to the 'wildlife protection fund' in my state.
