Poindexter adjustment tool from the 250 GTO series. Very rare.

Oh, and welcome to Ferrari Chat! Nice first post!

If it were a Ferrari part it would have the copyrighted Ferrari script. It does not.

Ferrari is not an uncommon name. Who knows what it is.

Looks like a pair of connecting rods joined at the big end, but obviously not original. I'm by no means an expert but that does not look like it was from or sanctioned by Maranello.

Looks a lot like most of a friction damper (aka, shock absorber). Missing some adjustment bits to change the tension on the pivot. Is there some leather or other material sandwiched in the joint?

    Wrong company, I'm afraid.

You have cabinet hardware from: Ferrari America

Fools! It is obviously a muffler bearing adjustment tool. Very rare in this great condition.

What a bunch of ignorant bufoons on this forum.

    Harrumph!

    Nope nope nope.

Muffler bearing tools usually have a 5 pound weight on one end for swingin'. This is clearly an assembly for calibrating the blinker fluid level.

Still, perhaps if it were signed by that company's founder, Outzo Ferrari, it could be worth more.

This is a cabinet hinge for a flip-up cabinet door (typically an upper cabinet).

Do a google image search for 'Ferrari cabinet hinge' and you'll find plenty of pictures of the same thing.
