I've been all over the internet trying to find out about it. So far, I haven't been able to find any info at all. I would love to know who manufactured it , etc. , etc,.

    This is all I found...

apparently this is a better version of the same 'bike' you had... Unfortunately, that site doesn't hold any info about its origin...

Plus, I agree with Laudaman, I should set it aside beacuse this item could be worth something....

It's a baby/child's scooter probably made by Fischer Price around the late fifties to mid sixties. The value in it's current condition is around $30-$50. $75 or so restored. Although toys aren't my specialty, I am a certified appraiser focusing on early to mid century items.

    Thanks for the pic.
I've tried to locate info on this thing for hours and wasn't very successful. There are a few differences in the one pictured. I noticed it doesn't have the fairings on the wheels.
I also noticed a metal plate that may have some info regarding the manufacturer. That's missing on mine. I toyed with the idea of restoring it, but didn't have a pic of the original to use. Thanks again!!

That's great. I was hoping someone with your background would chime in. Since you're an apprasier, can you provide a website that would help identify this as a fischer price/other manufacturer item?
    Thanks,
    Will

Kovell's has a web site that would probably identify it, but I think it's a pay site. Give me a day or two to see what I can find on my end.

    Thanks,

The pic in 420dino spyder's response really perked my interest in finding the manufacturer. I went over it with a fine toothed comb looking for some type of mark that would help in determining it's origins....nothing on the damn thing at all.
