I have a dumb question. Is that some kind of clear running light, marker light, or turn signal mounted in the metallic recess pictured in the left front fender? Image Unavailable, Please Login
This thread right here is so much of what makes Ferrarichat and this remarkable community so special. To the experts who immediately recognized this and brought information like an open book and clearly made this man's day, thank you
My grandfather next to his car. He bought arround the 60's the car from Segundo "Cholo" Taraborelli, he was a Turismo Carreta racer. Turismo Carretera it is a category that has been run in Argentina since 1937, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the oldest in existence. Taraborelli at the time have a car dealership. He told my grandfather the previous owner lastname was Macieti and previous to him Juan Manuel Bordeu. Fun fact also told me that he had to travel to Buenos Aires (we live in a small town call Tres arroyos) to signed the papers, so that the government would allow the car to leave the country. Argentina at the time (like always) had problems with imported spare parts, so my grandfather had to make changes,to make sure the car ran properly. Due to the lack of parts, modifying parts from other cars manufactured in Argentina and resorting to manufacturing parts himself that were as close to the original as possible. He also remembers what the changes were at that time. Again thank you all. Leonardo e Ignacio Image Unavailable, Please Login
