My father recently passed away and bestowed me this Ferrari watch which was not working so i sent it into Persec Enterprises the Ferrari authorized repair center. After 5 weeks and $500.00 later I just got the watch back.
I am trying to figure out which model it is, and what it maybe worth.

    Thanks

    Steven K

Looks like a Girard Perregaux 8020.

$2000-2500 stainless steel with bracelet, depending on condition.

He's just a random link from the web that happened to have that model. If you're going to discuss selling it or offering it for sale on this forum, you need to subscribe.

Condolences regarding your dad. If he had a watch like that, he must have been a cool guy. Sorry for your loss.

Likely, there are lots of dealers who will pick it up, but will necessarily have to give you a "wholesale" price to allow them to make a profit on a watch that may sit for a long time. Selling a watch like a GP8020 is a bit like selling a Ferrari; the pool of buyers is quite small.

The Chrono24 website allows private sellers, but I expect buyers would be quite warry of buying expensive watches from individuals with no prior sales and therefore no reputation. Not sure. As ylshih mentions, this website might provide a better marketplace but will have the same reputation issues.

Discounting the price won't gaurantee a buyer.

If it doesn't sell, at least it is a nice compact momento from your dad.
