Patrick, I would prefer a 512 BB with carbs over the 365 gt4 BB. But it looks like a nice car. Andrew, Because I am still concentrating on the ultimate 12 cylinder car. If I don't find my dream car then it will probably be another 8 cylinder car.
ok ok, a 512 BB should be a "better car" but the 365 BB is hotter As a blue man it's my duty to show you this 355 Berlinetta: http://www.mobile.de/SIDoHUG0vilhsoCGAk-Gbzotg-t-vaN%E3DexlCsAsCsK%F3P%F3R~BmSB11LsearchPublic%82C-t-vAUCaCiCoMkMoPESeTUZiaDkWkmrD~BCDA1G2006-10B14GM%FCnchenADD8600V550%FF%A0Maranello%FF%A0%2A1.Hand%2AE81900CCarG2006-10E81375A1C357E35000G1997-11J1101940048A1LsearchPublicD1100CCarZ-t-vctpLtt~BmPA1B41B20C138%81C-t-vCaMkMoSmVb_X_Y_x_ysO~BSRA6D1100D8600C355C355HinPublicA0A0A0A0A0/cgi-bin/da.pl?bereich=pkw&top=42&id=11111111149464532& Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ton, what about the 550LM. Has looks......... Has sound......... Has 12 cylinders..... Has WOW!!!!............ nice article in dutch "autovisie" of this week.....
You are sooo cylinder fixed! A 355 sounds better then most of the other FCars. I will try to see it personally today. And I will keep up my eyes for your 512 TR. forza cinque
sure! With tubistyle muffler and test pipes you win against my 355 stock sound. But now I have sport cats + Fuchs muffler to blow your mind (other mods will follow) Facts: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39822 View Poll Results: The Ferrari 355 engine has the best sound! It is absolutely true that I like the blue 355 very much. I also like the blue TDF 550 Maranello. Mirror, mirror on the wall which one is the most beautiful of all?
Fiorano track times?!?!?!? Nobody asked for them! Do you realy want to compare the 1984 !!!!!! Testarossa track time with a 1994 F355?????? 10 years difference in tech. and just 2 seconds!?!?
I dont wonder about the poll result. Everybody voted HIS own car for NO1! There are for sure much more 355 owners than Testarossa drivers! About your 355 with Fuchs: Fine and well done!!!!!! ....but its still a 8 cylinder! ....but its has still not a 5 liter engine! Its impossible to compare a 8 with a 12 cylinder (sound, torque, drive...a.s.o.) The 355 is a wonderful modern & fast Ferrari. Perfect for the mountains - I will always loose again your car on curvy roads!
That's what we call voting by purchasing The comparison was: 1'35"00 512 TR (1992) 1'34"00 F355 (1994) The cars are only 2 years apart. The flat 180 V12 engine sound is a little bit like two 911 engines in a row. Could be my cup of tea as well, but the 355 has this certain F1 screaming you won't find in a TR/ Boxer. So let me be the looser on the highway where you kill me with torque BTW: The Testrossa wasn't that difficult in the mountains. You can use that torque very well to climb - all you need is a wider road for your back end Probably we have more fun in the mountains then on the highway collecting stone chips. @ Ton: there are some black 512 TR around here. The one I like has over 70.000 km. Price: 67.500 (tan inside) forza cinque Image Unavailable, Please Login
What about this one, Ton? A classic V12 1964 330 GT... Don't know about the Fiorano track times on this one but that doesn't really matter in this case, does it? Maintenance could indeed be an issue... http://www.autoscout24.be/nl-be/detail.asp?ts=6540674&id=39405413
Alex, I saw that one! But I don't really like the double headlights. The single headlights 330 GT 2+2 is beautiful.
Hi Ton, for my budget I'd choose a 550 Maranello, possibly with Tubi exhaust and Fiorano package. I think it has all the WOW factor you'll ever need... ;-) However, if your budget can stretch to the heavens of Enzo's finest, may I suggest a new (or wait 6 months and save 20.000 Euros) 575M GTC - it must be the BEST driver's car on the planet right now. Unlike Pagani, Lamborghini and even the Porsche Turbo, the 575M GTC can claim direct descendancy from racing thoroughbreds: the all-conquering and 3-times FIA-GT world champion F550 GT and F575 GT, as well as from the 2003 Le Mans class winner F550 LM. I'd do ANYTHING to get my hands on a 575M GTC. For me it's even more desirable than a Murcielago.
