After 2 years of no-incident 328 ownership, my luck ran out this past weekend. While enjoying 60 degree weather, the torsion pulley that attaches to the end of the crank came loose (off). Does anyone know of a mechanic in the Des Moines, Iowa area that can work on my 328?

Wish I had a contact for you, but I'd recommend contacting one of the Ferrari dealers and asking them to point you to someone. There aren't many dealers, so I'd assume they have contacts in most of the major cities for their customers who need work done between major services.

Another option is to find an independent mechanic through this board and ask if he has a contact in your town. For example, I found my prospective mechanic in San Diego via a guy in Cleveland that a high-line resale dealership referred me to. It took a few phone calls.

Sorry I can't offer more help.
