    Ok so I put the Code Card somewhere safe .. but since moving house I can't find it anywhere and it is literally like looking for a needle in a haystack.

    Is there any way to circumvent the security code or am I simply screwed? :(

    A dealer should be able to get the number if you can prove it's your car.

    if you call becker direct i think they can give you the code with the info off the radio but it does cost a few bucks...good luck

    yeh that's what I figured, considering I only need the code after the agent did some warranty stuff on the car & disconected the power supply to the unit. We had a dealer change in Singapore recently and the new guys are still finding their way, and after 1 week without the radio I assume they've either had no luck, or are clueless who or where to ask .. so of course I decided to ask the oracles on Fchat for some help :D

    Hi Scott, I just purchased a ferrari 360 in Miami , and shipped it to my country, Chile.
    However I dont have the 4 digits for my radio, what serial # do you need to get me the code?

    Looking forward to your reply as its boring without radio/cd

    I have had it it out for more than a year because I couldn't guess the code

    Joachim, you need to pull the radio out... If you dont have a set of keys I use 2 steel fingernail files (with pointed tip)... the serial # will be on the side of the unit... Drewprof, I can get the code for you Monday as I have to do it at work...

    Drewprof, the be780 is a mercedes deck from 88/89 and there is no code on that unit... It requires a reset with a special decoding tool... I have the tool and I can do it but you would have to send it to my shop...

    As I dont have the toolsmy mechanic will detach the unit , and I will be able to get the serial number, I however do not know the model , I can send you fotos if needed.
