360 spider. So I made a bone head move and closed the hood of my car after turning off the master battery in the trunk. Looked for the pull cord in the passenger fender well and it just isn't there.

What can I do. I'm in hawthorne nj if anyone is close by and can maybe help. Please advise.
    Thanks

Isn't your manual open cable located under the dash below the steering wheel? Mine is.

Under the steering wheel. It'll be there. A little T-handle.

Found it. Whoever on Fchat said that it was in the wheel well was just plain wrong. Was bad info.

Anyway got the car started again, was right there. Lesson learned, don't keep owners manual in trunk.

I find myself using that T handle most of the time because of Ferrari's stupid idea of putting the switch on a circuit controlled by the ignition switch. Ditto the fuel filler door.
    Thanks Ferrari

I have found the manual hood and glove box release very handy on my 430!
Key on for hood, glove box and gas release can be a pain!

The boot switch on my F430 works electrically without the need of the key. I do agree it's a nuisance to have to turn on the key to open the fuel door as well as the glove box door.

Don't be surprised if it comes off in your hand - it is an emergency release!

The boot switch on my 360 works without use of key. I agree with voicey and use the emergency release for just that.

Go to ferraridatabase.com and download, for free, an owners manual for your PC, laptop or smart phone. Will prevent that problem from happening again.
