Help!! I am desperately looking to replace my stock wheels with 17" aftermarket. I contacted Ray at GAredCars but he doen't sell the ones I bought from him many years ago for a Mondial 8 (now owned by Fchat member), so now I am lost, anyone has any for sale or leads?

    Thank you,

    Stephane

Used to be a sponsor here... their LZ's are probably what you want but Dr. Tommy Cosgrove here uses their RT wheels for the track and they look good.

Some reasonably good options (I think) for a Mondial:

17" 348 wheels - widely available on Ebay and Ferrariads pretty reasonably priced. Bolt up no mods with 348 bolts.

17" Compomotive wheels - look like 288 GTO; FChat sponsor Nick is a dealer

Although 16", Superformance makes replicas of the original wheel in 16" size

    She's come a L O N G way!... :)
I recently replaced the center caps, got them direct from speedline, they told me that particular rim is no longer made :( I think it really works with the lines of the car, better than the stock look, but thats just my opinion.

    Scott,

Can I have my wheels back? ;).....Man, I had great taste, I love those wheels, I wish I could get them again.
I may even consider painting the black fenders again on my QV, does this sound crazy, anyone has any thoughts on doing that?
Here's another picture of our car.

those wheels do look great - 17" is the proportionally classic wheel size for the Mondial; Larger wheels give the modern feel.

Tell you what, buy the 1908R from speedline and I'll trade you :) kidding aside, the 1908's are real close and have an angular style to them that should work but a mag wheel can't be cheap. do remember the wheel model? maybe e-bay has something?

    Stephane,
I considered painting our Qv bumpers body color but when I looked at cars that had done it, I decided I liked the black better. I am probably in the minority but I think the black bumpers and trim are a good part of the design and look good.

Good point, I like the black trim also, I'll have to see how it looks with the new 17's installed, and then make a decision.

Thanks for all the help everyone.

400 HP!! That's insane!!! 240 is fine with me for the moment.
I ordered 215/40ZR17 fronts, and 235/40ZR17 rears, I'll have pictures in a couple of weeks. Thanks again.
