Anyone know where I can find a set of 86 or later mondial bumpers, or have any for sale?

I own a 84 QV and I really want to modernize it a bit. I have already added a more modern set of Wheels, Steering wheel, shifter, muffler, and badging. The 86 or later body mod will really improve the overall look for me.

My taste. The good part is that if need be, the original equipment can all be put back. (which I keep).

Here are some pics as to the progression.

I'd really like to get it to what the last picture of the car looks like. (photoshop magic).

It's been almost 3 hours and no help yet. WOW, that is a shocker. I usually get what I need in the first 2 hrs after I post.

Sorry, I don't have any 3.2 bumpers for you but how about this: Why not paint the existing bumpers red? Some folks here on the chat have posted photos where they did just that. It looked pretty good to me, anyway....

Just doesn't look right, the body kit is the way to go. I can't beleive these things are so hard to find.

I have never been able to find them. VERY expensive to try to do by purchasing new.

Have only seen one black bumper Mondial qv converted to 3.2 bumper (Fchat member theunissenguido) and it looked pretty dang good. Painted bumpers are ok too, but the 3.2 grill/spoiler is a bit better,
Would try Fred Petroske in Hemmings (Ferrari parts) or Bill at GT Auto Parts (Az) for 3.2 bumpers.
Here is the 3.2 bumper on qv conversion photos, and here are a couple of painted bumpers.
    hth - good luck!
    best

Your car looks great, but IMO that shift knob looks like it came from Pep Boys. I'd suggest an aluminum knob from www.teamvoodoo.com .

    Again, JMHO.

It's a MOMO, and be honest I like the feel, because it is a bit larger the the original, but it did look nicer in the store then on the car. I'll try it for a while. Not the hardest thing to remove if I get bored.

visited the page, looks great and the personal engraving is even cooler.

Not expensive at all, I paid my current knob way more then that.
