    BTW: it took about 8 months to find my perfect car. Black on Black is rare. I think I lucked out especially to find one as perfect as mine w/ 20k miles & to-die-for paint finish. Everyone is amazed.

    Congrats about being in a position to buy a Ferrari (golf clap). DON'T be in a hurry! Wait, look and be ready to walk. The worst thing you can do is to buy the first or second one that looks 'OK'. If you are really in a rush, you will test drive one and buy it without a proper PPI or get a PPI and pay too much. After I sold my '85 308QV, I looked for two years to find a '77 308 Euro. When I finally found it, it was only $15.5K and was in extremely good condition!

    Buying is two hurdles:

    1) Getting into the position to do so and
    2) Waiting for the right car at the right price.

    Don't screw up #2!

    thanks Peter, i know what you mean, it's tough, but it's getting easier, I have already turned down a couple this week.

    I know she's out there waiting somewhere ;)



    Alex, I have seen the FOD 328 but it's a bit outta my budget.

    I bought a car !!

    It's a Red/Tan 1985 308 GTS QV,

    It loads on the truck on Dec. 27th !!!!

    Arrives here hopefully Dec 31th.
