Gerald, I find it hard to believe you are not having a lot of luck.... There are many cars advertised, and known specialists here who could guide you to half-a-dozen more which are not. Some of the advertised cars are: http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/find/4100_results.asp?bsubmit=true&lmanufacturer=10066&whatbutton.x=0&page=0&lmodelflag=10331 13 cars. Lamborghini Countach For Sale - duPont REGISTRY 8 cars if you don't count the repeat Ads. 1989 Lamborghini Countach, $135,000 - Cars.com 1 car 1989 Lamborghini Countach for Sale in Twinsburg, OH 1 car 4 Lamborghini Countach for sale on JamesEdition 3 cars if you don't count the repeat So that's 26 advertised cars by my poorly math, and there are yet some more advertised in Europe. Then another 6 or so cars unadvertised that can be bought privately. So that's 32 cars, some of which are right there in Texas. Then, all the cars where its a matter of the right offer. Seems to me you should not have too difficult a time finding something to suit your parameters. Yet still, we are here to help. If you want to know about the ones that are unadvertised, call me on my number below.
Hey Joe have you seen that white 82' Early 5000s in France? It's white with a crazy color blue interior.
It's for sale. I do like the 4000s bonnet holder upper thing-a-maggiggggy on that early 5000s. Here's trick question. What VIN number did they start using the gas filled bonnet shocks? Or if that's too complicated of a question what month in the 82 production?
Hey thanks for all the replies. It has been difficult to locate many pre anniversary cars. They just are not many out there and most are not listed by an individual. Thought maybe I would find one on here for sale. Hope to join club soon with as fellow Countach owner! Thank You and if anyone knows of any others please list for me.
Not difficult at all to locate pre-Anniversary cars, 15 of the Ads in this post represent pre-Anniversary cars: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/142270036-post10.html As a matter of fact, there are more Countachs out there than there normally are. There are at least 6 cars listed for sale by individuals (not that it should matter whether the car is offered by an individual or an entity). An individual did chime in and offer you one for sale http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/142269272-post2.html , so, in fact you did find at least one on here for sale. If you'd like to know of others not listed, call me on my cellphone (714) 928 5626.
Is anyone on this chat line from Dallas. If so PM or message me I would like to meet and talk with some local Countach owners. Thanks Gerald
avoid buying the Mecum car. Was in a flash flood, engine blew, tranny locked up, front frame member and rear wing bottom rusted out. Plus miles turned back. A disaster.
