    Hey Guys,

I need a bit of help here. A few years ago, I was in Maranello when I saw a bunch of people wearing head to toe Ferrari flair. They caught my eye, as they were dressed eerily similar to somebody posted in an F-chat thread some time back. They went to the basement of a small inn. I quickly went to the Ferrari store and spent $500.00 on a Ferrari t-shirt, pants and shoes. Once I got over my good fortune of purchasing such fine cotton garments for such value, I refocused on my goal. I tip toed to the inn and snuck into the meeting. As I hid behind a giant bust of Enzo Ferrari, I saw a muscular man in nothing but a speedo insert a laser disc into some sort of contraption. I remembered him from a picture on F-chat where he posed with a Ferrari Enzo. Anyway, as I sat in the shadows I saw the greatest video my eyes had ever seen.

The interview is between a younger Jay Leno and LDM. The video takes place in Jay Leno's "other garage." In the video, Jay shows LDM a specially commissioned wooden F50, which he explains actually floats (you may have seen the video of the car online). Anyway, during the interview, LDM projects future resale values for new models from the 360 on up. He also discusses at length the materials used in Ferrari timing belts and the research they have used to support their recommended intervals. He ended with a slide show of actuarial tables regarding annual repair and maintenance costs of every Ferrari ever made. Jay Leno than began giving a detailed explanation of why he doesn't own any Ferraris. At that point, much to my chagrin, the zipper on my Ferrari jacket broke and fell to the floor. The room fell silent as everyone stood and stared at the Enzo bust in the corner of the room. Fearing for my life, I ran down the street, to my car and immediately back home to the US. For years I have been afraid to tell my story, but I am now ready to come forward.

Do any of you know the video to which I am referring. I know I am forgetting a few things regarding the video... could you guys in the know fill in the blanks for me?

    This is a joke right?

There is no way Luca commissioned the wooden F50.

    My name is Luca
    I commissioned wooden car
It lives for stares from you
Yes I think you've seen it before

If you hear something late at night
Some kind of canoe. Some kind of flight
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was

    I think it's because It's clunky
It tries not to go too loud
    Maybe it's because it's crazy
I try not to act too proud

They own repost until you cry
After that you don't ask why
    You just don't argue anymore
    You just don't argue anymore
    You just don't argue anymore

    Yes I think it's okay
    I posted the F40 again
Well, if you ask that's what I'll say
And it's not your F40 anyway
I guess it likes to be well known
    No timebelt broken, nothing sewn

Just don't ask me how I cam [X3]

What's this about a wooden F50? Surely there is no such thing? That would be as ridiculous as a 512TR in, let's say, a Hello Kitty-livery.

OMG, I knew F-chat was big, but could it be that you were there too?

Gosh, if I only I could remember what he said. At the time, I was trying to overhear a conversation between Pietro and a former f-chatter regarding what Enzo REALLY thought about his sports cars.

If this helps at all, I think he discussed the "list" right before the white paper was presented on the proper way to stow your Ferrari in the winter.

If you're not on the 'A' list, don't fret it!

It just means you're a 'Nobody,' and we 'A' list members don't hold it against you! ;)
