Help Me Identify This Floor Mat

    This belonged to a friend of mine who passed away many years ago. His wife gave me many things of his to sell after he died, and she knew or I could tell what they all were, except for this one floor mat. It's kind of hard to sell this if I don't know what car it's for.

    So maybe someone in Fchat land can identify it? It is vintage for sure, and has a fairly unique shape. The only good clue might be that there are 2 round metal snaps (hopefully you can see them in the "bottom" shot). I have never had any cars or mats that used these kind of round metal snaps, so I'm clueless.

    Over 150 people stumped so far. Guess this must be a tough one. Maybe I will have to offer a prize to the first person who can ID it?

    I am stumped as well. If its for the front seat area then one can imagine a very intrusive fender well or even transmission hump or engine shroud.
