Hi there. I work with networks, and our racks are named after a few folks you might recognize: Fangio Schumacher Hill Ascari Surtees Hawthorn Lauda Schecker Villeneuve (no champ, but still) Barrichello (forza Rubens! ) I'm adding 2 more, and am trying to figure a decent pair of names for them. 1) They have to have been a Ferrari F1 driver 2) Champion is a plus, but not necessarily with Ferrari 3) Irvine is not allowed
That's funny: my wife's company names theirs after "Fawlty Towers" characters, so they have Basil, Sybil, Polly, Manuel, etc. We recently had to sit down and watch som episodes to cme up with a name for the latest: Mrs Richards. SO I'm only too happy to drag out my refernce books and help you out. From 1951: Villoresi Taruffi Parnell Fischer Whitehead Shawe-taylor Landi 1952: Farina Trintignant Hirt Rosier Simon Laurent de Tornaco Comotti Carini Salvadori Schoeller 1953: Swaters Adolff de Terra Maglioli 1954: Gonzales Manzon That's the list avoiding duplications: most names appeared in all those years. Have fun!
Reggazoni Tambay Berger Arnoux (NEVER MIND, I see a BIG problem with this one.... LOL Do you ?) Sorry, I digress...
A. Senna, A. Jones, K. Rosberg-Champs but not Scuderia drivers. S. Johansson, Carlos Reutemann, Ivan Capelli, Arturo Merzario, M. Alboreto were all Scuderia drivers,
I think if anyone gets special dispensation...I mean, without him, we wouldn't HAVE a list of Ferrari F1 drivers! And he did start out as a racer.
Mansell Nuvolari Prost Froilan Gonzalez (1st. Ferrari driver to win a F1 GP) Ricardo Rodriguez Taruffi
Skoal! I was in a pub in Amsterdam many years back. We were taking turns buying pitchers. On each new pitcher, everyone would raise their glasses and say "prost". ((okay, "prosit".)) On one toast, I said "Nigel Mansell". Nobody got it. Well, it was World Cup week -- F1 was kinda off the radar.
