Could you help me with a picture of your ECU plug from this angle? I only need the one from a Motronic 2.5 car ('89 to 92), the ones with only one throttle position sensor on the 5=8 bank. Please state if yours came with catalytic converters and if you check engine lights operate (not to be confused with the slow down lights which are controlled by the Vescovini exhaust thermocouple controller).

The key is to ensure the focus is sharp enough to see the metal pins inside the socket positions.

    Thanks a million in advance...

    Marco
P.S. I also did put this request to the 348 section. If you are having CO setting, MAF or idling problems check my posts in that section, how to fix an expensive Ferrari MAF by using a VERY cheap replacement from a Saab/Volvo/BMW...

An US Mondial T is just the one I needed. Can you tell me if your Check engine lights work/ - do they come on briefly as you turn the key to "on" eg. the stage just before kicking off the starter motor?

    Thanks

Pics on their way...my check engine lights do NOT come on when starting the car...could be by default or could be the standard fuse box issues I have been chasing for the last couple of years.

Yours is from the 1-4 cylinders. I can see the braided thermocouple sensor wire going to the Vescovini ECU.

I have a full schematic for your car if you want it, let me know and I'll scan it and PM to you as a thank you for this.

My bad...take a look at this one. I would love to get a full wiring schematic...if it is different than the workshop and repair manuals which I already have. I have a copy of the 3.2 wiring manual which is only marginally helpful but did come as one file from many moons ago.

My Check Engine lights do NOT come on when turning the key to the accessory position. I started a thread about that here.
    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=202872

I just wish a few more folks could have taken the time to respond to it and confirm the fact that the Check Engine lights do NOT come on at the accessory position on 2.5 cars wheres they DO illuminate on 2.7 cars.

I have volume 2 of the WSM for the Mondial t, including the wiring for the car in both M2.5 and 2.7. Is that what you have? I do have the wiring diagram for the Mondial 3.2 as well...
