Just notified that Mr. Ferrari will be at our FCA South Central meet this weekend. Problem is I need something good to sign, something that is big enough to frame. The latest issue has some good shots of Piero at the Cavallino Classic, but they aren't large enough.

I have almost every Cavallino, Forza, and Ferrari World. Does anyone know of a good larger photo in any of those issues? The best would be one of him younger with Enzo.

I have a few books, like Ferrari 1947-1997 The Official Book, but all photos are too small.

I really need a high quality photo printer, I could take a pic and print off an 8.5 by 11 on the spot to sign.

    Thanks,
    rob

Did anyone get a high resolution photo of just Piero from Cavallino? If someone could email it tonight, then I might be able to print it out.

How about the Enzo centerfold from the last Cavallino?
Anything at the dealer? Poster, book, etc?
Something donated by the dealer? Sign, car body part?

Seems like there are a lot of pics if you do a google search. Not sure of the resolution though. I think your pic and print idea is good or you could get one of those paint pens and have him sign the latest F year book. Those paint pens don't work that great on a high gloss surface, fyi.

I think it's a little creepy having him sign a pic with his dad. JMO.

Have him sign a clear sheet of plastic. Then put it over whatever you like.

Rob, here's an idea. Call the publisher of Cavallino Magazine, John Barnes. Maybe he can help. He can be reached at 561-994-1345

Well, you probably know the entire story as you are one of the organizers. I just assumed it was Piero because he's really the only Mr. Ferrari in a literal sense. I guess it could be any number of people if not really Mr. Piero Ferrari. I just wanted to make sure I was prepared. I'll be disappointed to get there if it's someone else, because I didn't bring one of every possible Ferrari personality pic to sign. :)

Go to the Florida section, to the Cavallino thread with the pics of him... print a high quality color printout of the FerrariChat page with his best pic on it... have him sign that!!!

(But I do like the "sign the visor" idea... or if you can get him near your car, have him sign the dash or headliner or some such. That would be VERY cool!)

Jennie and I are back in Dallas now. The Mr. Ferrari thing turned out to be a huge cruel cruel cruel joke that Al played on everyone. :) We had some FCA members visiting form Wisconsin and their real surname is Ferrari. I guess the joke was on me because I took it literally and seriously. :D I did get to meet Stuart Robinson and a local Texas car dealer big wig, Mr. Barrett.

Pics and stories will be posted shortly at the below Texas link, it was a great event with over 40 Ferraris and 80 people.

    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5679

Jennie and I took second out of the 40 teams in the rally. Maranelloman and Dawn took 1st! JimE placed 5th I think. Good FerrariChat.com showing!
