I just took delivery of a stunning 355 today and realized the Tubi exhaust just isn't loud enough. What is the best solution? Headers? High flow cats? Both? New exhaust?

    Cheers,

    Phillip

There's a general rule of thumb that the louder you make a car, the better you'll feel about leaving it at home.

I also have a Tubi system. Not too exciting. You may want to consider looking at the Capristo systems. They come in levels 1-3 and also a by-pass valve delete system. Their system are pretty reasonable sounding at low RPMs, but really give you the F1-scream at high RPMs.

ND is right. Don't go too crazy. You don't want to become a "cop magnet".

Quicksilver SuperSports exhaust. Search Youtube for "355 Quicksilver" and you'll see my 355 in a tunnel with it. :D:D:D:D

    10 times better sounding than a Tubi...PLUS...only $2200 shipped! ;)

The loudest configuration I've tried was my Capristo level 3 with test pipes and bypass wired open. In the garage I measured 104 dB in the cabin at idle! A little bit quieter in the open air but not by much.

Amazing sound but probably a bit TOO loud as it absolutely required earplugs to avoid a headache after driving more than a few minutes.

Stage 2 It is the best, indeed Stage 3 sounds great but not for Streets. No way here in Los Angeles. You will not want or need Hyperflows after installing a Capristo Stage 2.
