I posed this question to the UK section - but would be very interested in the global view...

Considering making and offer on one of two 575's. Both cars are retailing for the same price. I have a feeling one is worth more than the other.

Tell me if there should be a price difference in your opinion between the two - and if so, how much

Both cars very nice specced and both F1 and FHP.

    Car #1 - Nero/Nero - 1700 miles - 2003/53 - 22 months warranty remaining. Shields/19" Modular Wheels/Sat Nav/Daytona Seats

    Car #2 - TDF Blu/Beige - 2100 miles - 2003/52 - 12 months warranty remaining. Shields/19" Modular Wheels/Hifi Sound Upgrade/Leather Rear Shelf/Fire Ext in Leather

So what do you think? Comparably priced cars or is one worth more than the other? If so, how much more?

I prefer Car #2, but - with a lot more warranty, slightly fewer miles and, I suspect, a more popular color, I'd guess Car #1 is worth more.

As for preferences, I like the leather rear shelf, but don't find the extinguisher (in a Maranello) or nav system worthwhile. The 19s and FHP would be essential for me, but both cars have those.

    Good luck.

Tough call, they both sound awesome. I am in agreement that the extra warranty is probably the most valuable item on the list. Both great colors and well set up. I think I would go with the color combo that moves me the most unless I liked both(which I do), then opt for the extra warranty.

I don't understand the difference in the warranty. Both cars are 03, right?

That said, I'd go with the car that looks the best to YOU. If you are concerned about resell, remember that options don't add to the resale value. They just make it easier to sell.

    Good luck, Dale

Neither of them have Fiorano? If not, how much will the dealer charge to have it fitted?

If all remains the same, it's a question of color preference and warranty preference.

Also, if it's your first Ferrari I might favor the black on black. If it's your second or more, I would take the TDF.

Fiorano package? That's rather important on the 575.

A years warranty costs about £1k for the V12 - but check with Maranello.

Why the difference in warranty btw? Are they from different countries?

Personally I would take #2 and buy optional warranty when it expires, simply because of colour and options. The warranty is not a great cost. But it all depends on how long you plan to keep it.

Black on black just sounds a little boring and the TdF/beige is a great combinations. My 550 had that combo.

FHP = Fiorano Handling Pack - I've ruled out any cars without

The reason they have different warranty balances remaining is that they were registered on different dates - one was registered Feb 03 the other in Nov 03.

    Thanks,

Apologies for the reading error.....FHP clear as day. ;)

It seems to be a dead heat. Again, for a first Ferrari, esp. a 575, do the the double Nero. It's very sleek and aggressive. TDF is more beautiful, or perhaps pretty is the correct term.
