Help! Need a contact at Mellin/Berlin Ferrari

    I am hoping to get some assistance in getting a campaign bulletin resolved on my 2000 360 modena purchased from Mellin Sportwagen. I have e-mailed them twice to no avail. I also e-mailed the importer, Ferrari Deutschland. The car is now in the U.S. and of course, NA dealers cannot warranty Euro cars - even campaign bulletins or recalls.

    Is there some who has a direct contact to their service dept, or better yet, is there an f-chatter who works for the dealer?

    Hi Frances,

    I could be wrong but I don't think there are any F-chatters working for this dealership. However, I'm almost sure some of the German members here can help you out. Unfortanetly a lot of European F-Chatters won't be online the next few days 'caus of the Ferrari-Chat Rally and Party in Andermatt, Switzerland.
    All I can say for the moment is; be patient and have another look at this thread next week.

    Mellin Sportwagen used to be our local Ferrari Dealer here in Berlin. They changed the name - now "Scuderia Berlin" - and location. They are now in the "Meilenwerk", a very nice place and something like a shopping mall for all auto enthusiasts.

    If you can provide me further details (like the content of the campaigns bulletin and the VIN of your car) I can go there tomorrow or Monday during lunch break and talk to them directly. So far I have only been a customer for spare parts, but in any case I found them always to be very friendly and cooparative. They are less than one kilometer from my office...

    Thank you for the kind words, but obviously the tracks were already laid before I went to the Scuderia :)

    In any case I think it is very positive for us owners that Ferrari knows that there is a community here that is sharing experiences wrt to Ferrari´s conduct. This certainly influences their decisions in cases where obligingness is required in our favour.

    BTW: Saw you are working in SCM? What does this mean? Just curious b/c I´m working in SCM also - as consultant and teacher at a University.
