Help - Need a new fuel float

The major service for my 1985 TR is almost complete. The only issue that needs to be resolved is to purchase a new fuel float (the wires are broken and will not send a signal to the fuel gauge). However, I cannot locate a new fuel float. I have called the usually sources and have been told the part has been unavailable for years. This is the last part I need to complete the service on my car, and to start driving my car.

If anyone has a source where I can purchase a new/use fuel float, I would be grateful.
