Help! Need pair of Jalpa/Urraco airboxes, condition unimportant.

    ummm the USA Jalpa airboxes are different from the euro models. the Urraco and Jalpa airboxes are different from each other. euro Jalpa's have 3 hold down screws and urracos have 2. the welded structure differs some also.

    i wish someone would come up with a way to get rid of the USA airboxes on the jalpa..... i would very much like to remove mine !!!

    We are figuring out in a tech thread that separate airboxes for each bank, like the Lambo, is probably a better design than the single Ferrari type airbox.

    If you look at Micheal's second picture, Lambo figures out two plenums ducted to separate airfilter is optimum.

    the urraco was vin *15176* a true euro car with no a/c and it never had any other air filter box, there were seperate filters in the airboxes. if they had the same set up as the Jalpa and the P300, then why would my air boxes be OPEN ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE . this has been debated on another forum, sorry for the shouting . :)
    the one filter into 2 seperate plenums came about with the P300 Urraco and SILHOUETTE. the Jalpa's ran with the idea. i think seperate lambo like boxes on a carb 3x8 would be cool. my jalpa is a screamer, i only wish i could hear more with the indivudual air cleaners i ran on all my 308's. but i am not going to alter the car as its all there and un-messed-around-with.

    if you need any specific pics of the Jalpa boxes i can take them for ya, the Urraco pics may take a few days as i sold the car to a friend here, but i still have access to it. Michael
