    Hello guys,

Does any one know if there is specification differences between european 328 ? Mainly, do belgian cars have own specifications ?

Background is: if I buy a 328 in Belgium or Germany, could I have some troubles to maintain it in France ?

    Thanks for your advices !

    Regards

Don't think there will be any major differences! Surely no technical differences!!

    No!

There is no difference between the European Ferrari's. Only the cars imported from Switzerland can have a different configuration.

So, the answers will be No, no, no. :)

I also think there aren't huge differances between Euro-spec cars.
The yellow front headlights rule in France is long history no?
Good luck in finding your Ferrari!

Not to my knowledge..thought all euro specs were the same, just U.S different?

Good luck though - wonderful machines.

Swis and US are similar, the main difference was these cars have a Cat exhaust, where both exhaust heathers converged into a single Cat and then to the muffler. These also include a Air injection system into the exhaust and differences on the CPU to control the mix through a lamda and thermocoupler in the CAT.

The european version exhaust was way simpler, the 2 exhaust headers go into the muffler one on each side of it, with no Cat, with no thermocoupler, and no exhaust air injection system.

So the Euro version produced 270 HP compared to the 256 of the Swis and US versions.

Why do you want an ABS model?

As far as I understand there are no exahust air pumps on fuel injected cars.
This was only for the carb cars where there are higher levels of unburnt fuel in the exhaust.
The US and Swiss having cats is right, but they also have upgraded rear suspension as the old pre 89' didn't leave enough space for the catalyst.

    Cheers

They do not have an air pump, they have a pipe that diverts from the airbox that goes to 2 small pipes that runs along the headers with small pipes into each individual exit. This air is injected into the exhaust to help burning the remaining unburn gas before reaches the cat. I know this in detail, as it broke on mine and I fixed it myself. (because this is easy...)

First one is the USA Air injection sytem, the second one is the Swis version.

Thanks. You're right. I was thinking of the old air pumps on US carb exhausts.
    Cheers
