Help needed - Door adustment 550

    I am having problem with the passenger door on my 550 , the inner door edge is scraping on the back edge of the fender when I open it. Anyone know the correct way to adjust it, I have tried loosening the 13mm bolts on the door hinges and readjusting but it is now worse. I have used 2 small jacks to take the weight of the door. The door needs to go back towards the rear especially in the bottom area.

    What is the trick to do this?

    Which little latch do you mean? The center hinge with a pin in it that stops the door from opening too far?
    I have tried loosening this one a bit , not all the way though

    The one the door fastens to towards the back. Mine came loose and the door sagged as you described. 2 bolts.

    No the rear latch is fine, door opens OK,
    problem is how to adjust the front hinges such that front of door doesnt touch bodywork..?

    Thanks for the tip, very helpful and knowledgeable people at Premier Motorsport, they advised adding an extra shim to the lower hinge, between the hinge and the door.
