Just went to check on car and frunk solenoid suddenly inop. Battery fine. Located emergency release cable and it is stuck, jammed, frozen or corroded. Can't tell which. Totally feels like it's going to snap. Am in the process of having the indy jump the button wires as a trial to check button. If its a fuse and can't get lid open to reach fuses is there any other way to get this thing open other than disassembling the entire car? I don't have a wiring diagram. This could be another looming disaster. Oh the joy. Any ideas appreciated.

Not joking…pull harder on the emergency release. Ferrari emergency mechanisms are notoriously difficult to operate.

There’s a procedure for re-linking the fob code to the frunk actuator receiver.

Perhaps someone that knows the exact procedure can chime in. My best recollection is that the procedure involves pressing the frunk opening button on the fob for 3 seconds, 3 times. Then locking and unlocking the passenger doors. Good luck.

This worked for me. I got this from Joe on here (FerrariChat) and put it in my notes for future reference!

Using one of the two key fobs:

    1) Unlock the doors
    2) Lock the doors
    3) Hold down both the lock and unlock door buttons simultaneously for a slow count to 10
    4) Unlock the luggage compartment using the key fob
    5) Both the key fob the unlock button on the left sill should operate properly at this point

There was a recall on the drunk latch. Be sure this service was done at no charge to you or previous owners.
