I decided to remove my plenums to have them powdercoated and am in the process of putting everything back together. When doing so, I noticed that the 'rear' butterfly mechanism (the one that controls two of the butterfly valves) seems to stick most of the time... it doesn't always happen, but sometimes when I open it, it gets stuck on the way back and i need to 'nudge' it with my finger to get it completely closed (see pic - top is 'stuck' bottom is after I pushed it closed). Unfortunately, I do not know if this is how it was operating when I took it off... the car never had any issues, so I am thinking that this is how it was when I took it off. The front one (the single arm) snaps closed easily. Can anyone tell me if this is normal operation?

a sticky TB is never ok and pretty common.... see if you can see if it's binding or it just needs a good cleaning with some seafoam

I had mine replace under warranty. Its carbon build up in the bearings. If its still off, you can use carb cleaner and keep working it.
