    Hi guys,

My OG Testarossa never had a radio installed but I want one now. Found a NOS Cassette Blaupunkt from '86. Unfortunately I‘m not a technician and don’t know what these cables are. I‘m looking for

    1. ground connection
    2. Positive (+12 V)
    3. connection for positive connection prepared

Does anyone know by any chance the respective colours for the aforementioned connections?

Please see the pics for the cables I found.

    Cheers
    Rene

What does "OG" mean? What version TR?

If a US version TR, see Fig 8 of the 509/88 US TR wiring diagram which you can get here:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/gne5xw608ba818b/509_88%20US%20TR%20Wiring%20Diagram%20Book.PDF?dl=0

AR (light blue-red) = should be always +12V from fuse #5
    H (grey) = "+" for RH speakers
    HN (grey-black) = "-" for RH speakers
    V (green) = "+" for LH speakers
    VN (green-black) = "-" for LH speakers

Most radio also require a key-switched +12V wire so you may have more wires than that in the area if it ever had a radio installed.

That Fig 8 looks more like for a (non-US) F113B TR (but the 5 wires listed have the same insulation colors).

    Hi guys,

Thanks for your replies. Will give it a shot today. Sorry, forgot to mention that it’s an EU TR as I‘m German [emoji846]
