I found a 2007 599 that I want to put an offer on. 6,500 miles. Just serviced. Perfect condition and well optioned (upper/lower carbon, Daytona Seats, leather backrests, carbon brakes, etc.). I would appreciate advice on what appropriate price to offer. Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert on pricing these vehicles, but I'd like to try and help. From what I've seen around the web on various websites, 599s of that year with similar mileage (between about 5000 and 7500 miles) can be as low as $200K all the way to $250K, of course depending on the options. If I were going to make an offer, I would say something like $215K and then work with the seller if they're looking for more. Before you even make an offer, decide what the maximum amount you would pay for it is and then work based off of that. Good luck to you in this endeavor!

As of today, there are 19 599's on Ebay, of which 6-7 are 2007s.

Play with options, etc...you should be able to get to a FMV for the particular car you're chasing...

Good luck. Should be fun when it's home in the garage....

Paying more than 190 for an 07 599 regardless of options is worse than burning your money in the backyard.

If the car is optioned the way you want, make a good offer and stay in the conversation with the seller. 599's are amazing cars, don't lose it. $195-210k

PM me if you want - I recently went down this road with the local dealer on a 2007 599. Went with a California instead but I would be happy to let you know the numbers we were talking.

About six months ago I offered 240 for a nice car. Offer declined. Four months later it sold for less than my offer.

I paid $195 ($90 trade)for my red 2007 with 9500 miles. It was not certified, but has pretty much every option other than the HGTE. I can see $190-$195 being a fair offer for the one you're looking at.

190K sounds much better than what I was saying. I don't know what the deal is with prices I've seen around.

What is rational about any Ferrari purchase? Even the ignition key costs more than a round of golf or a upscale dinner out on the town. Buy the car now, eat beans for a while. You won't be sorry!!!

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the input. I am waiting to hear back on pricing. Do you think pricing will drop when the replacement is announced/arrives?

Prices will drop just because the sun comes up tomorrow (god willing) and for the reason you stated and for many other reasons.

Its a used car. They depreciate. Period. Look at 575s. They stickered for $235K++ and are now $90-110 at age 6-9. There is a curve there that will serve as a rough guide.

Same with 360s that stickered for 180k ish and now trade for 70-100 at ages 7-12. 430s stickered for $240k ish and now sell for 120-170 at age 2-6. Don't even look at the (Beautiful IMHO) 612 or the (amazing) 430 Scuderia depreciation curves if you are afraid of steep drop-offs!

Again there are curves there. That said, (to date) the 599 seems to be depreciating slower than some of those...

But...its gonna go down...5 figures per year would be a safe bet if you want to own one and understand what the financial implications will be.

Thanks. Were there any real changes to the 599 after 2007?
