I have a 2015 F12. I have been busy traveling and trying to figure out depreciation. I know there is a TDF but will the next version be called F12, M or what? I guess I am hoping the F12 moniker sticks around a while. No ? thx

Well surely that tells you all you need to know, probable name, approximate specs, look? What more are you looking for?

    I see 3 scenarios:

    1. F12M is a huge hit, price is not increased and production capacity is upped a lot so it flood the markets. -> abnormally huge deprecation of F12B

    2. Opposite of 1. -> low but still deprecation of F12B

    3. history repeating -> huge deprecation

Cannot see the F12B hitting below £185K as the 599 HGTC is at that price now. Only cost me £45K to get into F12B as made profit of £100K on my CS and £65K on my Scud since sold them. So only cost me £45K get into my F12B, ferrrai flagship.

I think there could be a huge demand for the "M". There's a lot of talk about hybrids following the "M", but many may be uncertain about the future of the N/A V12 past the "M". Hybrid or not, the question is, will it stay N/A or go forced induction. This may encourage people to buy what they fear may be the last N/A F12. If this is the case, I suspect a lot of owners would want to get rid of their F12B, thus flooding the market with used cars. This will of course also drive down the price of the 599, so what the price of that is at present the present time, is kind of a moot point.

Sorry, should have re read your post.

Firstly depends where you are. If you are in the UK I think F12 prices will remain pretty strong as the M will probably have a reasonable price hike to allow for the euro change, or that will be the excuse, and also for the huge demand. Hence a properly specced M may come out close to £300k. That will shore up values of F12's, especially as they were already in limited numbers.

Car may well be called Daytona but what prefix or suffix there is to that a la Lusso is anyone's guess? Why should you worry if it is called F12 or not, it still quite clearly will be?

In the US, I suspect the market may be a little harsher, although it would not surprise me to see prices remain fairly well supported as a)it is such an amazing car and b)I cannot remember when people were scrabbling to get the last build slots even when Ferrari extended the deadline. Normally manufacturers have to discount the last slots for the old model and this is testament to a).

Not to sure about look at the 458 last of the n/a v8. market flooded with 458 and dropping prices so the F12m will do the same. F12 has only had great reviews and all depends if the new F12M will live up to same expectations.
The F12B build i believe was less then the 458.
