I am doing a major service on a 95 355 with 75K miles. Should I replace the cam belt drive pulley bearings in the front cover and the front of block. On my 308 at this mileage it was highly recommended. Does anyone know if these bearings are failing on 355's ?

sounds like you're asking if you should replace the timing belt tensioner bearings.... YES! Especially with that mileage. I would also replace the accessory belt tensioner bearing too.

No, he is asking about the drive bearings. A very different part. He even described their location.

At 75k miles I think it would be a very good idea.

The tool you seek is called; "a blind hole bearing puller" with pin studs for caged rollers
