I am doing a major service on a 95 355 with 75K miles. Should I replace the cam belt drive pulley bearings in the front cover and front of block? On my 308 at this mileage it was highly recommended. Does anyone know if these bearings have been failing on 355's ?

I believe it's considered a standard procedure for a major. Get the Hill Engineering bearings...should be $424 for a pair of them.

Its false economy not to mate, do it.
    Replace with Hills uprated units.

Absolutely YES...you will have to use an OE Ferrari part for the ones in the front engine cover...Hill does not make them.

Be sure also to get the seal/o-ring for these bearings...

What bearings are we talking about? I thought it was about tensioners.

He is talking about the bearings that support the belt drives down near the crankshaft nose.
