Help please! Car Shipping from Houston to Phoenix

I am looking at buying a car in Houston and having it shipped to Scottsdale.

Need a general guesstimate/ballpark cost in order to finalize my negotiation for the car.

Anyone have knowledge of what the going rate is (covered or uncovered).

the $1300 above seems close. I shipped two cars from OKC to Austin last year (360 & 69 Camaro) via Reliable and it was $2k. Slightly higher as I needed specific pickup dates than their normal rate would have been. I think it was 1500 or so for the two if I had flexible dates; all quotes were enclosed transport. I had a separate transaction from Scottsdale to OKC for an AMG Benz a long time ago and I think it was $1k (circa 2009)

 

Those estimates are close to what I paid for enclosed transport from CT to TX...T

Just a month ago shipped my 458 Italia from Houston to Central Fl using Reliable for 1200.00. This is my 4 th ship with them and service was quick, courteous, without any issues! Nothing but good things to say about them.

I have to tell this story. Some years ago, I was at Bondurant when everybody stopped and went over to the main office. A driver had just pulled up with Bob's winning Shelby Daytona. Man, that driver was sweating bullets. He apparently had been 100% paranoid about getting jacked. After he finally backed it out of the truck, I never saw someone so relieved in my life. I have photos around somewhere.

Ended up buying it local to me in PHX. That said, now looking at a different brand/make at Park Place in Dallas...so may be shipping a different car...

 

If you end up buying and need to ship a car let me know. I have used an independent for several years and he does a great job. He transports exotics all the time and has transported several Ferrari's to Pebble Beach. He is based out of Kansas but criss crosses the country all the time.
