    Hi
I have a manual 360. I am having issues witht he gear selection. Last year I had a new clutch fitted and has done less than a 1000 miles. When I drive the car hard 1st and 2nd gear gets real tight and almost imposible to get into gear. It appears that something is over heating, expanding and restricting movement.
I currently have the car in Germany and there is minor difference in opinions between the dealer in Germany and my UK dealer, both of who I have ultimate trust in.
My gut feeling is i should drive the car to the dealer in UK for them to repair incase it is something to do with the clutch as they replaced it but am interested to hear what others might think the problem is.....?

    Cheers

I looked for something like this months ago and clearly missed osmething improtant!!! Thanks for pointing this out to me.
My sypmtoms seem different as 1st/2nd only become a problem when i give it a bit of pace down the autobahn it becomes super stiff, no grating etc, but after a 5 minutes of normal driving it is possible to shift into them again.
Either way I will def be doing this upgrade as the gear change has never been great on my car and after having the gear box out and new clutch fitting costing big $$ there seems little else left... would be a shame to think the dealers would over look this though
Thanks again, you have given me a bounce back in my step

My guess is maybe the throw-out bearing seals are bad (clutch slave pump)...

Did they replace it during the clutch change ?

How does the clutch pedal feel at high rpm shifts ?

Looking at the invoice there are numerous seals they replaced but not knowign what is what i cant say for sure. They replaced clutch, release bearing, clutch flywheel etc so would guess thye did. They have always done a great and thorough job. While on Autobahn shifting up and down feels great and didnt notice a issue with the clutch feel or anything.
