I just added a Lotus Elise to our motor pool. Problem is, I can't heel/toe it with the stock pedal setup. Anyone know someplace in metro Denver that can modify them?

I put a deposit down 10/03 and picked it up 2/27/05. Not bad. Put a deposit down on F430 9/02 and haven't been asked to spec it out yet. A long wait!

Dave, as you know, I'm one spot behind you for the F430 and I was in and asked Bill when I could expect a call to spec it out. He gave me the once over and said that I looked young and healthy enough to be around long enough to get the call. Jeez!! I'm 29! That is a long wait!!

We have the same problem with our Elise. It also takes a good 3" before the rear brake lights engage. You might want to check yours in a dark garage. Most are "factory adjusted" to this spec. I plan to get it fixed at the 1k service.

From what I have learned, the brake pedal can be adjusted and a good bleeding helps the mushy feel. I hope to get this too addressed at the 1k service.

www.Elisetalk.com is a great forum with loads of info.

    Nick,
Thanks for the info. I would like to firm up the brake if possible. I drove 2 others before delivery, they all have squishy brake pedals. I prefer a harder pedal like Ferraris and my Subaru STI. I'll check out the site also.

    Thanks,
    Dave
