My engine warning light comes on after re starting the car cold or hot after reset the ecu Basically if i turn the battery on and start the car its fine But if then i turn the engine off and back on either after 10 seconds or 1 hour The engine warning light goes off and comes back on and once its on it won't Go off unless the power from battery is turned off basically re setting the fault code Now the fault relates to a cat sensor or 02 sensor in the back section of the Exhaust system but here may be the issue the car has a sports exhaust system fitted Could this be where the problem lies? The system is a capristo and was fitted to the car when I got it Which was only a few weeks ago the guy did tell me it was nothing to worry about and it was Down to the exhaust. Any help would be appreciated before I take it to the garage. Thanks.
I have the exact same issue. The Ferrari guy told me not to worry about it, so I don't. Like you, when I reset the system it goes out but always comes back on when it warms up. I reset the system with my OBD scanner every now and then as well. One day we will get it sorted, as will you.
