Help please removing 360M center console

    I need to remove the center console, 360m coupe, 6-sp, to install a radar detector remote device in the cigarette lighter area. Haven't yet been able to get my own shop manual. Can anyone out there give me a hint...

    I'll give you this advise. I had my console and all interior parts replaced with carbon fiber. I wathed the tech do the console, it was amazing how much stuff is connected in there. It took him almost three hours. My advise, let a tech do it.

    I hear ya, and I appreciate your comments. But, on the other hand, realize I don't need to acutally remove the console, I guess I actually worded it wrong. I just need to get the console loose enough to slide a wire under it somewhere to reach the ashtray, plus run the wire under the carpet.

    So, can anyone help?

    This thread can end. I decided to at least try myself. I removed the ashtray, and the carpet panels at the bottom of the firewall, and was easily able to pass a cable thru the tunnel to the ashtray without disturbing the center console itself. Sorry for the WOB......
