I am looking to make an offer on a 2007 F430 Spider with manuai 6 speed. It has 5000 miles. The car is for sale for $157,000. What should I expect the mark-up to be on this car and on others I am looking at (both 360 & 430).

I would be surprised if they go below 155. Any more details on the car... Color combo, CCB, maintenance records, any history, condition of the car over all? Don't forget to do a PPI and google search the vin no.

Ask them to include the one year warranty in that price if you are buying from an authorized Ferrari dealer and if the car is certified pre-owned. This is what I did with my car. Same year,
also a spider but with F1. I bought mine in Oct 2013.

Very true. I bought my 06 18 months ago with 4700 miles for 155k and he did not budge a dime. These are the last of the stick shifts and the true driver's Ferrari. They are commanding premium and do not last on the market for too long . If checks out, get her. This one will keep its value as very few exist and fewer come for sale. Adil

I hope you're right. But I don't plan on selling anytime in the foreseeable future. Mine has over 15k miles now.

I bought mine Dec 09 for 177. It had 2033 miles then. November build 07 430 MT spider with CC brakes for all that are doing price comparisons. I felt like I got a fair to good deal at the time.

It's a different story now. These cars are very difficult to come by these days. Prices are holding strong.

I'm surprised the 6spd has such a high demand. I had the opportunity to buy a slightly higher 6spd vs. my F1, but I passed since I felt everyone wants the F1. I had a very hard time selling my Aston Vantage 6spd vs. the "Auto" trans.

Because Ferrari has declared that stick shifts are over for ever. In the F community, many still love the manual stick shifts and seek those cars. There is a demand and supply situation. According to my friends in dealerships,a stick shift 430 v/s F1, the stick will go faster simply because the next one May not be available for months. Suspicion is that 6MTs in 430 models were no more than 5% of all cars imported. Off course no one will know the exact figures . I don't know if Austin Martins have discontinued the MT in their future models, but you may know F car owners and Austin Martin owners happen to be 2 different groups with a small number overlapping. Most Austin's are bought for frequent use if not DD. Then automatic transmissions are preferable.

Ferrari of Long Island had a three pedal 430 for quite some time and took a while to sell. I wanted an F1 so I didn't even consider it.

There was one on eBay that wouldn't sell for a while. Kept being relisted without hitting reserve. This was just a few weeks ago not sure what happened with it.
