    Thanks DGS!!! Great feedback!

I had never driven the 328 and boy you are right about the shoes!! LOL! I did not bring my racing shoes, but I managed with the clunker tennis shoes! Heel and toe is a hoot with this car! I also noticed how much louder the car was with stock exhuast and top removed. The lack of power steering was not as bad as I had anticipated.
Thanks again for the inspection check items!

My stock exhaust sets off car alarms in the underground parking. ;) (Yes, it does make it down the ramps.)

While I can drive mine with my work shoes, at times I need a driving shirt. By the time I get through all those overly-long Arlington traffic lights, with the heat radiating forward from the engine bay, I could use a dry shirt to change into. :p

Robert, let us know if you decide to come to Chicago to see the car in person. We could probably put together an impromptu Ferrari escort!

328s are noted for having weak headlights and dim gauge lights. To familiarize yourself with this, test-drive one of the cars you're considering when it's dark.

There is a fix (much thanks to FChat for its extensive discussions of this problem!). Contact:

for precise guidance concerning, and sales of, upgraded lights and the appropriate wiring harnesses. Not overly expensive, but IMHO a vital upgrade for the car.

Electrosavvy FChatters can do these upgrades themselves. I had my trusted local Ferrari guru do mine so that I didn't accidentally blow up the car. Also the screws & clamps of the dashboard area can be tricky if one is not familiar with them.
