My sales called me today saying that they got 2 12 FF's trade in last week, both are less than 10k miles, going for around $180-190k range. He's telling me that these FF can be leased for around $3k a month with $30k down for 3 years, 5k miles per year with $1.75 per mile extra, also has option to get up to 5 years on the lease.

That makes me feel kinda itch. Both my Alpina and S550 leases will be up soon, serious thinking about getting one.

Question here, hope anyone has experience with ferrari leasing can help out. I'm going to check out the cars this tomorrow.

    1. Does it make sense to lease an FF? Not sure the residual yet, but the payment seems about $130k or so for 3 years, it seems kinda high?

    2. Anyone got a better deal than those numbers? I never lease any Ferrari before, don't even know where to start the negociation with the dealer.

138k over 3 years to drive a 180k makes no sense. just buy the car

I agree. Since you're exploring leasing, you might as well check out what it would cost to actually finance it.

You guys are right, that seems pretty stupid to lease LOL. I guess i was too high when i heard used ferrari can be leased. I will go check out tomorrow and find out. Not really needing another ferrari, but it would be awesome if its reasonable to own so i can drive an ff everyday.

For $138,000 you can buy a good low mile 612.1 and have money left over. Maybe even a higher mile 612.2 for that kind of money to drive every day.

    I would rather walk. lol

Agree with finance the car, 3-4 years will cover the sales tax burden. You'll still have equity in that time.

I don't know where you can find one at this price?
Are you trying to help accelerating the FF depreciation? ; )

Brian L- To each his own. It appears you have similar taste in autos as myself except for the different opinions on the FF vs. the 612 OTO. I won't rubbish your taste for preferring the FF vs. the 612. I elected the 612 over the FF it was not an accident I ended up with the 612 rather than the FF.
I am on the list, to get on the list for the Mission E Porsche (electric). I heard it may be available in 2019 from Randy Leffingwell after he met with some of the Porsche executives last year?

If you're happy ... love it!

I will wait a year or so on the Porsche, but it looks great.

ttforcedfed - you are on the same wave link as was I when I got my 612 OTO. Looked at a couple FF and the 612 is just too beautiful.

I think you need to look at financing it. You could certainly do an open in lease and probably have a reasonable deal. Those cars seem to have depreciated out and now that they are in the very low twos and high ones they're holding hard.

By the way I have never seen an FF with 20,000 miles or even 40,000 miles sell for 140 K. FF eats up a 612 in all categories but it really comes down to personal choice

I think the 140K is his trade in no necessary what a consumer can pay.

That's an easy retail sale, you can do wholesale for that. 25k 2012 FFs are 160-170 right now. Unless it's ugly. Or has no shields :)

yep, so add 10% for a retail number - doesn't make much of a difference - no one is paying me 170 for my car when low miles ones are 180/

If the build was perfect maybe 165.

Super low miles (under 6000) 2012s with a great build are selling for 185. (May '16)

Amazing to see how much lower the FF are compared to the 612 at the same life cycle, and that with a much higher MSRP.

I have owned both 2x...has a little to do with looks...the FF is in a different league...sorry 612 owners but they are basically a 4 seat f12 or 458

    Thank you

612 is safe, looks soft and old school, drives like an old car

FF styling is polarizing because it's bold, and what a monster to drive, always will be a monster. It's a bigger and slightly slower F12, so much more car for the money than a 458. But in that modern family in every way.
